Chocolate Chip Slab Cookie Bars image

These cookie bars will make your house smell so good when they are baking! They are thick and delicious!

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 cup(s) butter, softened
1 1/4 cup(s) brown sugar
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
2 1/2 cup(s) all purpose flour
7 ounce(s) chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Beat the butter and sugar using and electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in the vanilla extract.
  • Stir in the flour and chocolate chips.
  • Pat the dough into a 7" x 10" pan. Bake for 25 minutes. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
