Chinese Take Out Chicken Wings image

Really crispy tender wings

Number Of Ingredients 11

10 chicken wings patted dry
1/4 teaspoon(s) each white pepper and garlic powder
2 teaspoon(s) salt
1/2 teaspoon(s) sugar
1 tablespoon(s) shaoxing wine
1 teaspoon(s) sesame oil
1 egg
1 tablespoon(s) cornstarch
2 tablespoon(s) flour
oil for frying
sriracha mayo for serving

Steps:

  • Mix the ingredients for batter together. Add the chicken wings and let marinate at room temp for 2 hours or overnight in fridge. If the batter is too runny add more cornstarch or flour. The wings need to be coated with a thin coating.
  • Fry the wings in hot oil of 350 degrees in batches of 5 for 5 minutes. Once all the wings have fried. Fry them again for 3 minutes. Serve with Sriracha Mayo
