Steps:
- 1. FOR CROCK POT: start off by browning your meat until there is no longer any pink. Add onions, garlic and peppers and saute for a few more minutes.
- 2. Transfer to a crock pot then add all ingredients besides cheese and sour cream.
- 3. Cook on LOW 5-6 hours or until beans are thoroughly cooked.
- 4. FOR STOVE TOP: repeat step one only this time using a deep pot. Add all ingredients except sour cream and cheese.
- 5. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes. Garnish with sour cream and cheese!!
