Chili Cheese Tamales (From Grace) image

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 cans White Creamed Corn
2 pounds Masa (not prepared with lard)
1 1/2 pounds Whipped Butter
2 tablespoons Baking Powder
1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
1 lb. 11 ounces can Green Chilis, canned
2 pounds Grated Jack and Cheddar Cheese
1 package Corn Husks

Steps:

  • Del Pueblo Market - order Masa
  • Mix together masa, butter, salt and baking powder. Then add corn chilis and cheese.
  • Soak corn husks and drain. Fill with filling, fold corn husks. Steam to cook.
