CHICKEN ALFREDO WITH MUSHROOMS image

1 jar alfredo pasta sauce
2 chicken breasts
1/2 cup white wine
basil
1/4 cup mushrooms
1/4 cup flour
2 cloves garlic
Oil for frying
8oz farfalle pasta (bowties)

Steps:

  • Cut chiken into cubes and flour lightly. Fry in oil until brown over medium heat. Remove from the pan and add mushrooms chopped, garlic minced, and basil. When the mushrooms begin to brown add the chicken and wine. Cook for ten minutes or until the mixture begins to thicken. Meanwhile cook the pasta according to package instructions. Add the jar of alfredo sauce to the chicken mixture and heat for 2 minutes under a low flame. Pour sauce over pasta and serve.
