CHEWY BROWNIE COOKIES

Number Of Ingredients 11

2/3 c crisco
1 1/2 c brown sugar
1 Tbsp water
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 1/2 c flour
1/3 c unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 c chocolate chips
1/2 c or more of walnuts i use, not part of original ingred.

Steps:

1. Heat oven to 375 degrees Combine Crisco, sugar, water and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed til blended.
2. At low speed beat in eggs, add flour, cocoa, salt and Baking soda. Stir in choc. chips and drop by Tablespoons onto un-greased cookie sheet. Bake 7-9 min. (should be moist looking) Makes 3 dozen
