CARAMEL BISCUIT RING image

Yield 4-6 servings

Number Of Ingredients 6

1/2 C Dark brown sugar
3 T Butter/Margarine
1 T Water
1 T White Karo
1/2 t Cinnamon (optional)
1 Can Biscuits (8 - 12oz)*

Steps:

  • In a 2 qt. heat and pour measuring bowl, combine brown sugar, butter, water, karo, and cinnamon. Cook on high for 1 minute or until butter is melted. Stir in some nuts if desired. Separate and cut biscuits in half. Arrange pieces in bunt pan or other suitable dish. Stir and pour caramel over biscuits. Bake four to seven minutes on BAKE setting (60%). * We use Pillsbury Big Country 12oz cans of buttermilk flavor biscuits. To compensate for the larger amount of biscuits, we use a bit more of the caramel sauce ingredients.
