These are great for the holidays. Cranberry and orange are one of my favorite flavor combos.

Steps:
- Beat butter and sugar until light and creamy. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Add sour cream.
- Combine flour, baking powder, soda, and nutmeg in a separate bowl. Stir into the wet mixture until well blended. Add the pecans and cranberries.
- Drop tablespoon-sized mounds on a greased cookie sheet. Make sure they are spaced 2 inches apart. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 375 degrees. Cool for a few minutes on baking sheet.
- Remove cookies and transfer to a rack to completely cool. Ice cookies with the orange glaze if you wish. Store in a tin.
