Number Of Ingredients 15

POUND CAKE:
2 stick margarine
1/2 c crisco
3 c sugar
5 eggs
3 1/2 c flour
2/3 c self rising flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 c milk
2 tsp vanilla flavoring
1 1/2 c black walnuts
ICING:
1/2 box powdered sugar
3 Tbsp margarine, melted
4 Tbsp butternut flavoring

Steps:

  • 1. POUND CAKE: Cream Margarine, Crisco and sugar well.
  • 2. Add eggs, 1 at a time.
  • 3. Mix flours and baking powdered; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
  • 4. Mix well; add flavoring and black walnuts.
  • 5. Pour batter in pan; place in cold oven.
  • 6. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • 7. ICING: Combine all ingredients; beat until fluffy.
