Broiled Broccoli image

For great flavor when broiled & Eaten as a healthy stand alone snack or an addition to a salad.

1 stalk(s) broccoli, fresh
1 large garlic
3 Tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
dash paprika

Steps:

  • 1. wash & slice broccoli stalks in strips
  • 2. place on pan then drizzle with olive oil
  • 3. microwave garlic until papery skin burst then peel away and remove
  • 4. Press garlic through press sprinkle atop broccoli
  • 5. sprinkle with paprika
  • 6. Broil for 10 minutes then remove and stir them up on the pan making sure that all are coated well then return to broiler
  • 7. Remove from broiler, then set pan in oven for an additional 5 minutes if extra crispness is desired set in hot oven, serve immediately
