Broiled Apricot Chicken image

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 cup apricot nectar
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
2 tablespoons catsup
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon horseradish mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
6 boneless chicken breasts
1 can apricot half (drained)

Steps:

  • Preheat broiler. Combine apricot nectar, brown sugar, orange peel, catsup, cornstarch, horseradish mustard, and salt in saucepan. Stir until cornstarch is fully dissolved. Bring to a boil and hold for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Broil chicken breasts 4-5 minutes on each side. Brush often with apricot sauce during broiling and before serving.
