BOILED CORN ON THE COB image

Corn (1-2 per person)
1/4 cup kosher or sea salt
2 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon black pepper
water

Steps:

  • Shuck the corn. Place the corn cobs into a pan with water enough to cover. Add in the garlic cloves, salt, and pepper. Set this aside for at least two hours, overnight is better. Bring the pan to a boil after the time period, and cook the cobs until they are tender, normally 45 minutes at a rolling boil. Drain the corn, season with butter to taste.
