- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a mixing bowl add sugar and oil and stir till combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each egg is added.
- Add cocoa powder and mix. Stir in salt, flour, and vanilla and stir until combined.
- Pour batter into a greased 9x13'' baking pan and spread into an even layer.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before frosting.

- In a large bowl, combine the butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, stirring well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. - Preheat Oven to 180 degrees.
- Mix the eggs, butter and vanilla essence in a bowl.
- Melt the white chocolate stirring regulary. When smooth, mix it in with the above mixture.
- In a seperate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, sugar and coca powder.
- Add the dry ingrediants to the liquid mixture and stir until it looks moist and well mixed together.
- Stir in nuts or chocolate chips last.
- Pour mixture into a dish and evenly spread it out. Put into oven for 10 - 13 minutes.
- When the brownies are finished cooking, take out of the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. Drizzle melted white chocolate over the top for a decoration and then cut to serve.

- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and the sugar.
- In a heavy saucepan, combine butter, shortening, water, and cocoa. Stir and heat to boiling.
- Pour boiling mixture over the flour and sugar in the bowl.
- Add the buttermilk, eggs, baking soda, and vanilla. Mix well using a wooden spoon or high speed on an electric mixer.
- Pour into a well greased cookie sheet (17 1/2 x 11 inch) pan.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 15-18 minutes or until brownies test done in center.
