- Place sliced peaches into a large pitcher. Add white wine, peach juice and peach schnapps (or whiskey if using). Stir to combine.
- Chill the sangria in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours minimum and up to 24 hours.
- Add the sparkling water and stir to combine.
- Serve over ice and peach slices and garnish with a sprig of mint.

- Combine the sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat and let cool completely. Keep covered in the refrigerator up to 1 month.

- Place all ingredients in a pitcher and stir to mix. Refrigerate at least 8 hours or up to 48 hours. To serve you can add club soda to the entire pitcher, so give the sangria a "fizz". I prefer to pour about 1/3 club soda in a glass filled with plenty of ice, and then pour the sangria. Serve with a slice of fresh orange, for color. Very refreshing. I recommend keeping extra wine on hand, as my guests wanted more...and more. Chilling this for at least 8 hours is good, but making it at the last minute works fine... color and fruity flavor won't be as rich, if the drink isn't chilled quite long enough.

saw very similar recipe in bhg last month(by erica gradwell) called for strawberry schnapps which i could not find so i subbed peach schnapps. i adjusted the sugar to my taste and called it a winner!prep time is cook time.
