2 cups vodka
1/2 cup coarse sea salt, optional
1/4 cup coarsely ground pepper, optional

Steps:

  • Using a skewer, poke a few holes in each tomato. In a container, combine tomatoes and vodka. Cover and refrigerate for 2 days., Pour tomatoes and vodka into a shallow serving dish. Serve tomatoes with toothpicks; if desired, combine sea salt and pepper in a small bowl for dipping.

30 -40 small cherry tomatoes
1 tablespoon garlic
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon pepper
750 ml grey goose vodka (or equivalent quality Vodka)
Tabasco sauce (optional)
parsley (garnish)
lemon pepper seasoning (served in high ball)
toothpick (placed in shot glass)

Steps:

  • Cut a shallow cross shape in the top of each tomato, put them in a large bowl and add the garlic (as much or as little as you like), a little salt, Tabasco (optional) and above all vodka.
  • Allow the tomatoes to soak up the vodka, stirring occasionally; Let them soak overnight and after 24 hours they can be put in the refrigerator.
  • Once you are at the party pour into the large oversized martini glass and serve with a shot glass of Lemon Pepper for dipping and a shot glass with toothpicks.

4 pints firm vine-ripened cherry tomatoes
1/3 cup lemon-flavored or plain vodka
3 tablespoons white-wine vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons small fresh dill leaves
freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 firm lemon

Steps:

  • Cut a small shallow X in stem end of each tomato and have ready a bowl of ice and cold water. In a saucepan of boiling water blanch tomatoes, 3 at a time, 2 to 3 seconds and immediately transfer with a slotted spoon to ice water to stop cooking. (Tomatoes should still be firm, but skins should slip off easily.)
  • In a bowl stir together vodka, vinegar, and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Peel tomatoes and add to vodka mixture with dill, pepper, and salt to taste, tossing gently. Marinate tomatoes, covered and chilled, at least 30 minutes and up to 1 hour.
  • With a citrus zester cut 2 tablespoons zest in strips from lemon. (Alternatively, cut a 3- by 1-inch piece zest from lemon with a vegetable peeler and cut crosswise into thin strips.)
  • Just before serving, gently toss tomatoes with a rubber spatula and sprinkle with zest. Serve tomatoes with small forks or wooden picks.

  • Essential equipment: 5-10ml syringe per person Pile tomatoes attractively in a bowl in the centre of your table, allow to come to room temperature if cold.
  • Book taxis to take guests home.

1 small onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 T dried Italian seasonings, crumbled
1 16-oz can Italian plum tomatoes, chopped, juices reserved
3 oz sliced prosciutto or ham, chopped
1/2 c vodka
3/4 c whipping (double) cream
1 c grated Parmesan cheese
8 oz rigatoni or any other tubular pasta

Steps:

  • 1. Melt butter in saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onions, garlic, italian seasonings and sauté until onion is translucent, about 4 min. 2. Add tomatoes, reserved juices and prosciutto and simmer 10 min, stirring occasionally. 3. Add vodka and simmer 5 min. 4. Add cream and 1/2 c parmesan. Simmer until sauce thickens slights, about 4 minutes. 5. Add rigatoni and stir until sauce coats pasta. Season with salt and pepper. 6. Serve, passing remaining 1/2c parm around.

24 cherry tomatoes, cut a cross on the base of the tomato
6 cloves garlic, peeled,finely chopped
1/2 cup vodka, enough to cover half way up the tomatoe (approx)
sea salt
chopped fresh parsley (to garnish)

Steps:

  • After you have cut a small cross in the bottom of each tomato place them side by side, cut side down, in a shallow dish salt the tomatoes, just a little.
  • Sprinkle the garlic over the tomatoes.
  • Pour in enough vodka so it is well above the cut crosses.
  • The longer you leave them the more Vodka they will absorb but leave them at least 24 hours at room temperature, then you can refrigerate them.
  • Serve with salt.

1 cup fresh breadcrumb
6 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped and divided
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, coated with olive oil
salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup sun-dried tomato packed in oil, drained and minced, reserve the oil
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 cup onion, diced
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 tablespoon fresh garlic, minced
1 cup vodka
1/3 cup low sodium chicken broth
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 cup pecorino cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • Cook pasta in a pot of boiling salted water according to package directions, drain.
  • Combine bread crumbs and 2 Tablespoons parsley in shallow bowl.
  • Pound breasts between 2 sheets of plastic wrap with a meat mallet to 1/2" thickness and season with salt and pepper. Coat both sides with crumb mixture.
  • Heat reserved sundried tomato oil in a a sauté pan over medium-high heat. Arrange cutlets in pan; sauté until brown, 4 minutes per side. Transfer cutlets to a plate and tent with foil.
  • Melt butter in same pan. Add onions, tomato paste and garlic; cook until onions soften, about 2 minutes. Remove pan from heat.
  • Add vodka and return pan to heat; cook until reduced by half; 2-3 minutes. Add broth and sundried tomatoes and simmer 3 minutes.
  • Stir in cream and pepper flakes; reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 2 minutes. Add pasta, pecorino and remaining 4 Tablespoons parsley; season with salt and pepper. Divide pasta among 4 plates and top with cutlets.
