TURKEY TATER-TOT CASSEROLE
A quick and easy variation of the classic casserole. By substituting a few things in the recipe, it becomes more nutritious and less fat.

Steps:
- Cook and drain the ground turkey and place it into a 2-quart casserole dish.
- Layer the green beans on top of the ground turkey.
- Spread the cream of mushroom soup on top of the green beans.
- Place the sliced cheese in a layer over the top of the soup.
- Scatter the tater tots over the top of the casserole, making sure to cover the surface.
- Cover with a lid and cook at 400°F for 45 minutes or until the tater tots are browned.

- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray an 11x7-inch baking dish. Cook ground turkey until done; drain fat. In a medium bowl, mix Cream of Mushroom Soup together with the cooked ground turkey. Season to your liking. Spread ground turkey mixture into bottom of baking dish evenly. Arrange frozen tater tots across top of ground turkey mixture until covered. Sprinkle cheese evenly across top of tater tots. Sprinkle chopped green onions if desired on top of cheese. Bake casserole in a 350 degree oven for approximately 30 minutes or until tater tots are cooked and cheese is melted. 8 - 2.75 "x 3.5" square servings. - cook turkey, onion, celery,salt, pepper, and garlic powder in pan coated with cooking spray.
- spray 2 quart casserole dish with cooking spray.
- spread 1/2 bag tater tots in casserole dish.
- top with meat mixture.
- layer last 1/2 of tater tots over meat.
- combine soup and milk and pour evenly over casserole.
- bake uncovered for 1 hour at 350.
CROCK POT TURKEY TATER-TOT CASSEROLE
My husband and son fell in love with this at a church pot-luck. We make it everyother weeek or so just for my son. When our green beans and corn are ready from the garden I use those. The freash veggies are crispier but good. Some times I like to add cheese to the top of this in the last 10 minutes. Enjoy!

- Lightly spray your crock with a non stick spray.
- Brown the turkey.
- Empty the whole bag of tater tots on bottom of crock- pot.
- Mix all other ingredients together and then poor those over top of taters. Cook on low for 4 1/2 to 5 hours.
- If adding cheese sprinkle it on in the last 10 or so minutes.

I revised the traditional high calorie tater tot casserole that is made with ground beef and lots of cheese. This casserole is made with ground turkey and doesn't include cheese. I also added more veggies!

Steps:
- Pre-heat oven to 400.
- Brown ground turkey.
- Add spices as turkey is cooking.
- In skillet add cream of mushroom soup and milk. Mix thoroughly.
- Add peas and carrots and then simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Spray casserole dish with cooking spray, and add turkey mixture to dish.
- Spread tater tots evenly over turkey mixture.
- Bake in 400 degree oven for 45 minutes.
