1 small ripe avocado, pitted and peeled
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1-1/2 teaspoons lime juice
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
1/8 teaspoon Louisiana-style hot sauce
2 flour tortillas (10 inches), room temperature
1/4 pound sliced deli smoked turkey
1/2 cup chopped red onion
1 cup torn romaine

Steps:

  • Place the first 5 ingredients in a food processor; process until smooth. Spread over tortillas. Top with turkey, onion and lettuce; roll up.

1 ripe avocado, pitted, peeled and mashed
1 tablespoon Old El Paso™ taco sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
4 Old El Paso™ flour tortillas for burritos (8 inch; from 11-oz package)
8 oz thinly sliced cooked turkey
8 slices packaged precooked bacon (from 2.2-oz package)
4 leaves romaine lettuce
1/4 cup drained roasted red bell peppers (from 7-oz jar), large pieces cut up

Steps:

  • In small bowl, mix avocado, taco sauce and garlic salt. Spread about 1 tablespoon on each tortilla.
  • Top tortillas with turkey; spread with any remaining avocado mixture. Top with bacon, lettuce and bell peppers.
  • Fold in sides of each tortilla; roll up. Cut each in half. Serve immediately, or wrap each sandwich in plastic wrap, then refrigerate until serving or up to 24 hours.

4 slices bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
2 lb turkey breast tenderloins, cut crosswise into 1-inch slices
3/4 cup barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons Old El Paso™ taco seasoning mix (from 1-oz package)
1 medium ripe avocado, pitted, peeled and mashed
2 cups shredded lettuce
1/2 cup drained roasted red or yellow bell peppers (from 7-oz jar), large pieces cut up
8 Old El Paso™ flour tortillas (6 or 8 inch), heated

Steps:

  • In 12-inch nonstick skillet, cook bacon over medium heat 4 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until almost crisp. Add turkey slices to skillet; cook 4 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until turkey is brown on all sides.
  • Spray 3- to 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Place turkey mixture in cooker. Top with barbecue sauce and taco seasoning mix; stir to mix well.
  • Cover; cook on Low heat setting 5 to 6 hours.
  • Remove turkey from cooker; place on cutting board. Use 2 forks to break up turkey; return turkey to cooker. Layer avocado, lettuce, turkey mixture and bell peppers on tortillas; roll up.
