TROPICAL BANANA SLUSH DRINK



Tropical Banana Slush Drink image

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 cups white sugar
3 cups water
2-3 ripe bananas, smashed
3 cups pineapple juice
1 (6 oz) can frozen concentrated orange juice (or 1/2 of a 12 oz can)
3/4 cup water
1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple
1 (2 liter) lemon-lime soda

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, bring sugar and 3 cups water to a boil and let boil for 5 minutes. Remove from stove top and let cool.
  • In a large bowl, mix together bananas, pineapple juice, concentrated orange juice, water, and crushed pineapple. Add in sugar water and mix well.
  • Freeze in a covered container for 24-48 hours.
  • Remove from freezer and using a large scoop, spoon into a large serving bowl. Chop up the large chunks if necessary.
  • Add lemon-lime soda and ladle into cups.

2 qt. (8 cups) prepared KOOL-AID Sugar Free Tropical Punch Flavor Low Calorie Drink, divided
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen unsweetened strawberries
2 ripe bananas
1 cup orange juice
1 cup pineapple juice
1 bottle (1 liter) diet ginger ale, chilled

Steps:

  • Place 1 cup of the prepared soft drink, strawberries, bananas, orange and pineapple juices in blender or food processor container; cover. Blend about 30 seconds or until smooth. Pour into 6-cup ring mold. Freeze 5 or 6 hours or overnight until firm.
  • Stir remaining prepared soft drink and ginger ale in large punch bowl. Dip frozen ring mold in warm water, just to rim, for about 20 seconds to loosen. Float ring in punch bowl.

6 cups water, divided
5 medium ripe bananas
2 cups sugar
2 cans (12 ounces each) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 can (12 ounces) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
1 can (46 ounces) unsweetened pineapple juice
3 bottles (2 liters each) lemon-lime soda

Steps:

  • In a blender, process 1 cup of water, bananas and sugar until smooth. Pour into a large container; add the concentrates, pineapple juice and remaining water. Cover and freeze. , Remove from freezer 2 hours before serving. Just before serving, stir until slushy. Stir in soda. Serve immediately.

750 ml vodka
2 liters carbonated lemon-lime beverage

2 cans (11 ounces each) mandarin oranges
1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained
1 can (12 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 jar (10 ounces) maraschino cherries, drained and halved
1/3 cup lemon juice

Steps:

  • In a saucepan, bring water and sugar to a boil; cook and stir for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat; cool completely. In a 4-qt. freezer container, combine the remaining ingredients. 4 ripe bananas
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 (59 ounce) cartons florida natural orange juice (I use the one with most pulp)
1 (12 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
1 (46 ounce) can unsweetened pineapple juice

Steps:

  • In a blender container, process 1 cup of water bananas and sugar until smooth.
  • Pour into a large container and add the lemonade concentrate, orange juice, pineapple juice and remaining water.
  • Cover and freeze.
  • Remove from freeze for 2-3 hours.
  • Just before serving, break up with a large wooden or metal spoon.
  • Note: If punch is frozen to solid just allow to sit out on counter until is starts to melt and become slushy.

2 lemons, juiced
1 (46-ounce) can pineapple juice
carbonated lemon-lime soda

Steps:

  • Bring sugar and water to a boil then cool. Combine with juice, bananas, lemon juice, and pineapple juice. Freeze. Remove from freezer 45 minutes before serving. Break up and pile in glasses. Pour carbonated beverage or ice slush.
