JACK DANIEL'S TRADITIONAL THANKSGIVING CRANBERRY RELISH
I used to always make a cooked cranberry sauce, that I believed was quite wonderful. Unfortunately, it used to generally go untouched. Then I decided to throw this together, and it was one of the biggest hits of the table! Everyone takes a little, and they don't have any idea what the secret ingredient is that keeps them asking for more! Don't tell....

Steps:
- Put cranberries, clementines (with peel), ginger and sugar in food processor and pulse until finely chopped.
- Put in a dish and stir in Jack Daniel's or bourbon.
- Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving, but preferably overnight.

Steps:
- 1. In a large bowl, add fresh orange juice, pulp, and grated orange zest. Add water, fresh grated ginger, nutmeg, & cinnamon stick. Allow to infuse for about 5 minutes.
- 2. In a medium size saucepan, add cranberries, brown sugar, and apples. Add orange juice mixture with cinnamon stick. Cook over medium low heat, stirring constantly. Cook until cranberries pop... Reduce heat to low and cook until mixture thickens up. You want chunks of fruit to make a relish. :)
- 3. Serve warm or allow to cool and serve with thanksgiving dinner. Garnish with fresh zest of orange and fresh grated ginger prior to serving.
TRADITIONAL CRANBERRY RELISH
Steps:
- Half cover with water. Boil until some berries pop. Remove from heat. Add 1 cup of sugar while still hot. Allow to cool. Gently add remaining ingredients, refrigerate.
