19 oz refrigerated cheese tortellini
24 oz jar marinara sauce
8 oz pkg cream cheese (softened)
1/4 cup fresh Italian parsley (chopped)
2 teaspoons fresh thyme (chopped)
5 slices mozzarella
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Place your tortellini in a lightly greased 4-quart crock pot.
  • Mix together your marinara sauce, cream cheese and fresh herbs.
  • Pour your sauce mixture over your tortellini and stir all together.
  • Lay your mozzarella slices on top and sprinkle your shredded parmesan on top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.

Since I'm out of the house by 7am, and not home until 5pm I learned to love crock pot meals. I saw this recipe on Facebook and we loved it, especially dipping the bread into the broth. Plus it's a recipe you can make your own by adding whatever you like, so I thought I would share with you !!

1 bag(s) tortellini
2 can(s) italian style diced tomatoes (i used roasted garlic & basil)
4 c vegetable broth
1 pkg cream cheese
1 bag(s) fresh spinich

Steps:

  • 1. Put all ingredients into crock pot, chunking up the cream cheese, and cook on low for 5 hours.
  • 2. I used the meat tortellini, added a side salad with crusty Italian bread and it was a hit.
  • 3. The next time I make it I'm going to try cheese tortellini and maybe add some chicken.

1/2 lb bulk Italian sausage
1 container (15 oz) refrigerated marinara sauce
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with Italian herbs, undrained
1 package (9 oz) refrigerated cheese-filled tortellini
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or pizza cheese blend (4 oz)

Steps:

  • In 10-inch skillet, cook beef and sausage over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown; drain.
  • Spray inside of 4- to 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Mix beef mixture, marinara sauce, mushrooms and tomatoes in cooker.
  • Cover; cook on Low heat setting 7 to 8 hours.
  • Stir in tortellini; sprinkle with cheese. Cover; cook on Low heat setting about 15 minutes longer or until tortellini are tender.

1 Reynolds® Slow Cooker Liner
1 (15 ounce) jar roasted red peppers, drained and chopped
1 (32 ounce) container chicken broth
2 (15.5 ounce) cans white (cannelloni) beans, rinsed and drained
1 (28 ounce) can Italian-style diced tomatoes, drained
1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts, rinsed, drained, and quartered
4 stalks celery, chopped
2 medium onions, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
8 cups Swiss chard, chopped
20 ounces fresh or frozen cheese tortellini, uncooked
¼ cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese
1 ½ cups finely shredded Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon snipped fresh thyme or rosemary
½ teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Line a 5- to 6-quart slow cooker with a Reynolds® Slow Cooker Liner; set aside.
  • Add the roasted peppers, broth, beans, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, celery, onions, olive oil, and garlic to the lined-slow cooker. Stir gently with a wooden spoon or rubber scrapper to combine.
  • Cover and cook on high for 5 hours.
  • Stir in Swiss chard and tortellini gently with a rubber spatula and cook 7 to 9 minutes more or until pasta is just al dente. Serve with Parmesan cheese and Parmesan Crisps, if desired.
  • Parmesan Crisps: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line two large baking sheets with Reynolds® Parchment Paper. In a small bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, fresh thyme or rosemary, and black pepper. 1 pound sausage (preferably Italian)
1 (10-ounce) bag fresh spinach
2 cans Italian style diced tomatoes
2 (12-ounce) cans low-fat chicken broth
1 (8-ounce block) cream cheese, cut into cubes

Steps:

  • Brown the sausage in a skillet on the stove top until cooked and crumbled. Drain. Add the sausage, spinach, 2 cans of tomatoes, broth, and cream cheese to a 6-quart slow cooker. Stir to combine. Cook in the slow cooker, on low for 5 hours, stirring twice during cooking. Add the tortellini in the last 15 to 30 minutes of cooking time and cook until they are tender.
