1/2 cup butter, softened ((1 stick))
4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
1 cup granulated white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 3/4 cup cake flour

Steps:

  • Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Cream together butter and cream cheese with electric mixer.
  • Add sugar and beat for 1 minute. Add egg and beat to combine. Add extracts and beat until combined. Add in baking powder and cake flour (in three sections), mixing to combine.
  • Once incorporated, refrigerate dough for at least an hour.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Dough is sticky so use flour on your hands to roll out 1-2 inch balls. You can use the bottom of a cup/glass dipped in flour to gently flatten the balls. Don't flatten too much or the cookies won't puff up.
  • Bake for 9-11 minutes. Important: Pull them out when you see the underside edges turning golden! This might vary for your oven and altitude. Watch these cookies carefully.

1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
4 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Start off by adding 1/2 cup unsalted softened butter and 4 ounces softened cream cheese to a large mixing bowl. Use an electric half mixer to cream them together really well.
  • Now mix in 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar and mix it at low speed.
  • Then add, 1 large egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and mix it in.
  • Now sift in 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
  • Mix the dry ingredients well. Now scoop out the cookie dough using a medium-sized cookie scoop.
  • Then use your hands to round the dough into balls.
  • Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated 375 degree Fahrenheit oven for 10 minutes. Make sure to bake on the center rack.
  • Once the cookies are cooled, dust them with a little bit of powdered sugar, and enjoy!

Cream cheese is the star ingredient in both the cookie and its glaze, and performs two tasks: It imparts tanginess and contributes to the soft texture. These cookies are simple but delicate, so you'll want to pull them from the oven as soon as they begin to turn golden, then let them cool directly on the baking sheets until they firm up. The glaze is optional, but it's easy to whip together while the cookies cool.

4 ounces/105 grams cream cheese, at room temperature
1 cup/200 grams granulated sugar
1 lemon, zested and juiced (about 4 teaspoons zest and 2 tablespoons juice)
1 large egg
3 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons milk, plus more, as needed

Steps:

  • Heat the oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt. In a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium, beat together the butter and half the cream cheese until combined, about 2 minutes. Steps:

  • Soften Cream cheese and butter (about 20 seconds each in the microwave).
  • Add egg and cake mix; stir until smooth.
  • Roll into balls, place on greased cookie sheet and press down with spoon/thumb.

2 cups grape
1 tablespoon sugar
6 sprigs fresh thyme
2 packs graham cracker
¼ cup powdered sugar
6 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
12 oz cream cheese, room temperature
2 eggs, room temperature
¾ cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sour cream
3 ½ tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350˚F (180˚C).
  • Add the grapes to a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with sugar and thyme.
  • Bake for 45-55 minutes. Cool completely.
  • In the bowl of a food processor, add the graham crackers and pulse until finely crumbled.
  • Transfer the graham cracker crumbs to a bowl with the powdered sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon, and stir to combine.
