Until a week ago, I had never heard of BCD. After tasting it at a Super Bowl party, I not only became addicted, but noticed that there's already a huge BCD craze taking over America. It's delish, but pretty processed and rich!

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup blue cheese or ranch salad dressing
1/2 cup hot sauce
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
2 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
2 (9.75-ounce) cans chicken in water, drained
Crackers, chips, and/or veggies, for dipping

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a (9-inch) deep-dish pie plate add the cream cheese and stir with a fork until smooth.
  • Stir in the dressing, hot sauce and cheeses. Mix in the canned chicken and bake for 20 minutes or until the chicken mixture is hot and bubbling.
  • Stir before serving with crackers, chips, and/or veggies.

3 cups chicken breasts, cooked, shredded
8 ounce cream cheese
1/2 cup buffalo sauce (Frank's hot sauce)
1/2 cup ranch dressing ( or blue cheese dressing)
1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
1 1/2 cup Colby-jack cheese, divided
Optional: blue cheese crumbles & green onion (for garnish)

Steps:

  • Cook and shred the chicken breasts ahead of time. To make it easy, use store-bought rotisserie chicken. Another easy tip is to use your instant pot to cook your chicken so it is ready to go when you assemble the dip.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a 9X9 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
  • In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, add the cream cheese, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, and garlic powder. Continue to stir and cook until the cream cheese melts and the ingredients are combined.
  • Remove the sauce from heat. Add the shredded chicken, and 1 cup shredded Colby-jack cheese. Mix well to combine.
  • Transfer to your prepared baking dish and top with remaining 1/2 cup Colby-Jack cheese.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the cheese is melted.
  • Top with blue cheese and diced green onion if you desire! Serve with carrot sticks, celery sticks, tortilla chips, crackers, or a sliced baguette.

There are a lot of Buffalo chicken dip recipes but I feel certain this is one of the very best. Made with freshly cooked chicken, this is way better than recipes that call for the canned stuff. It's super rich and creamy with the perfect amount of tang. I highly recommend the optional blue cheese crumbles on top! Great served at room temperature so it's perfect for a party. Serve with celery and carrot sticks or corn chips.

3 (6 ounce) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
cooking spray
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup ranch dressing
1 cup hot sauce (such as Frank's RedHot ®)
1 ½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese
⅓ cup crumbled blue cheese
3 stalks green onion, green parts only, thinly sliced

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Place chicken on a large sheet of foil and sprinkle evenly with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Wrap foil around chicken to form a pouch, sealing it around the edges. Place foil pouch on a rimmed baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Remove from the oven and let stand for 15 minutes to cool slightly.

1 tablespoon unsalted butter
2 cups shredded, cooked chicken
1/2 cup Buffalo-style hot sauce
1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup sour cream
4 ounces cream cheese, cut into pieces and softened
1/2 cup freshly shredded white Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
1 1/2 teaspoons finely chopped chives, or to taste
Celery sticks, carrot sticks, bread, potato chips, and-or tortilla chips, for serving

1 lb chicken breast (I usally put in the oven for 350 degrees for 40 min and throw in a bit of Texas Pete hot sauce to ma)
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 (8 ounce) package shredded cheddar cheese (cheddar, sharp cheddar, mexican, etc.)
1/2 cup texas pete (Texas Pete Buffalo Sauce a must for this dip, we like Sweet Baby Rays buffalo sauce but Texas Pete m)
1 -2 teaspoon ranch dressing mix (do NOT sub. the actual liquid dressing... dry mix a must. Add more or less depending on your taste.)

Steps:

  • In saucepan over medium heat combine all ingredients until well blended without lumps, add your chicken (we think it's better with chunkier chicken, than shredding chicken).
  • The best part about this dip is that you can throw it together super quick- no need to let it sit in a crockpot -- but you can always make it and transfer to a crockpot for large parties- trust me, you will want to make loads!
