This Teriyaki Chicken recipe will quickly become a new favorite! In this one pan recipe, bite size chicken breasts pieces are sautéed in a skillet then coated with an easy and delicious teriyaki sauce. To make this a 15 minute recipe prep the sauce mixture while the chicken is cooking.

1 1/4 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts, (diced into 1-inch cubes)
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup water*
2 Tbsp honey
1 1/2 Tbsp packed light brown sugar
1 Tbsp rice vinegar
1/4 tsp toasted sesame oil
2 tsp peeled and minced fresh ginger
2 tsp peeled and minced fresh garlic ((2 cloves))
2 tsp cornstarch
Sesame seeds and chopped green onions, (for serving (optional))

Steps:

  • Heat olive oil in a 12-inch non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add in chicken and let brown on bottom about 3 - 4 minutes then flip and continue to cook until center registers about 160 degrees, about 3 minutes longer.
  • While chicken is cooking, in a small mixing bowl (or liquid measuring cup) whisk together soy sauce, water, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic and cornstarch.
  • Stir the sauce in with the cooked chicken and continue to cook and toss until sauce has thickened, about 30 - 60 seconds longer.
  • Serve warm garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

1 1/2-2 lbs raw chicken (Cut into smaller strips)
4 chopped green onions (optional)
1 cup cooked white rice (optional)
1/4 cup honey
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons sesame oil (vegetable oil works too)
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 minced garlic cloves
1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)

Steps:

  • In a medium sized bowl, combine the Merinade ingredients.
  • Add the chicken to the merinade and let sit for 20 minutes.
  • (OPTIONAL) Now would be a perfect time to cook some white rice while you're waiting on that chicken.
  • Heat a medium sized wok and empty the chicken and merinade into it.
  • Stir fry the chicken on high heat for about 5 minutes. The sauce will thicken during this time.
  • (Optional) Add the green onions and stir fry for another 30 seconds.
  • Remove from heat.You are now ready to serve your chicken!

I have been hearing of this method for awhile now, so I finally tried it. I believe this makes an outstanding dinner!Easy-No marinading!

2 whole roasting chickens (cut into 1/4's)
1 (1 1/4 quart) bottle Kikkoman's teriyaki sauce, and marinade

Steps:

  • Cut chicken into quarters, rinse and dry.
  • Put chicken pieces into a large sauce pan.
  • Pour marinade over chicken, making sure all pieces are submerged.
  • Bring to boil over medium heat,and boil for 20 minutes.
  • While chicken is boiling in marinade, prepare grill for indirect method,at medium heat.
  • When chicken is done boiling, add to grill, skin side down.
  • -- DON'T THROW AWAY THE MARINADE!.
  • Grill chicken until skin side is dark brown, approx 12-15 minutes(with lid closed).
  • After chicken is browned to your liking, turn chicken, and cook until juices run clear(Approx 15-20 minutes).
  • Brush chicken with remaining sauce during the last 10 minutes of grilling.
  • This is perfect match to serve with Potato salad, and ICE COLD BEER!

¼ cup lemon juice
2 teaspoons minced fresh garlic

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (6 to 8 oz each)
2 cups peeled, sliced carrots (1/4 inch thick)
1 cup frozen shelled edamame
2 tablespoons sliced green onions
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro leaves
1 teaspoon sesame seed

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400°F. Line 18x13-inch rimmed sheet pan with cooking parchment paper. In medium bowl, mix oil and seasoning mix (from box); transfer 2 tablespoons of the mixture to large bowl. Add chicken to oil mixture in large bowl; turn to coat. Place chicken in pan. Roast 15 minutes.

Try this easy, sticky Asian-style teriyaki chicken for a speedy weeknight supper - it takes just 20 minutes to make! Serve it with sticky rice and steamed greens

2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
6 skinless and boneless chicken thighs, sliced
2 large garlic cloves, crushed
1 thumb-sized piece ginger, grated
50g runny honey
30ml light soy sauce
1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
1 tbsp sesame seeds , to serve
4 spring onions, shredded, to serve
sticky rice, to serve
steamed bok choi or spring greens, to serve

Steps:

  • Heat the oil in a non-stick pan over a medium heat. Add the chicken and fry for 7 mins, or until golden. Add the garlic and ginger and fry for 2 mins. Stir in the honey, soy sauce, vinegar and 100ml water. Bring to the boil and cook for 2 - 5 mins over a medium heat until the chicken is sticky and coated in a thick sauce.
  • Scatter over the spring onions and sesame seeds, then serve the chicken with the rice and steamed veg.
