1 package (7 ounces) small pasta shells, cooked and drained
1 can (6 ounces) tuna, drained and flaked
1 large carrot, shredded
1/4 cup chopped onion
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup 2% milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1 teaspoon dill weed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • In a large salad bowl, combine the pasta, tuna, carrot and onion. Combine remaining ingredients; whisk until smooth. Pour over pasta mixture; toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.

I put this together cleaning out the pantry and it is O so tasty! I make this all the time now and it will go with just about anything. You have to make sure you let this cure in the frig overnight and get very happy before diggin' in. (The salad seasoning has salt, pepper, romano cheese, sesame seed, poppy seed, paprika, garlic, celery seed, and red pepper in it.)

1 lb elbow macaroni (large ribbed pasta works better)
1 cup sweet peas (preferably frozen)
6 1/2 ounces tuna in water (if you use the foil packs you don't have to drain)
1 cup red onion (chopped)
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Salad Supreme dry seasoning (McCormick)

Steps:

  • 1) Boil pasta to al dente (8-10 mins).
  • 2) Drain pasta.
  • 3) Cook frozen peas mirowave for approx 3 mins; cool under cold water and drain.
  • 3) Add all ingredients to a large bowl; adjust mayo based on your preferences.
  • 4) Fold and mix well; seal bowl with lid.
  • 5) Put in frig overnight.
  • 6) Enjoy.

This is one of those salads where I say, "The longer it sits, the better it gets." You'll often find this cool and creamy pasta salad at my family's get-togethers.

One 12-ounce package tri-color bow-tie pasta
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
1 stalk celery, cut into large chunks
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 red onion
Three 5-ounce cans solid white tuna in water, drained
3 hard-cooked eggs, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon white vinegar
2 teaspoons Miss Brown's House Seasoning, recipe follows
1/2 cup sweet pickle relish
Chopped fresh curly parsley, for garnish (optional)
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 tablespoon freshly ground pepper

Steps:

  • Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to the package directions. Drain and run under cold water to cool, then drain again. Transfer to a serving bowl.
  • While the pasta cooks, pulse the celery, bell pepper and red onion in a food processor until finely minced. Add to the serving bowl along with the tuna and eggs.
  • Stir together the mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, House Seasoning and relish in a small bowl. Pour over the pasta salad and toss gently to combine. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving, if desired.
  • Stir together the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Store in an airtight container.

1 lemon, zested
1 lemon, juiced
½ small red onion, diced
1 small yellow bell pepper
1 small red bell pepper
3 celery stalks, diced
2 carrots, grated, tops reserved for dressing
12 oz solid white canned tuna in water, drained
8 oz dried farfalle pasta, cooked acording to package instructions
¼ cup celery, finely chopped
½ teaspoon whole cumin seeds, lightly toasted
¼ teaspoon ground turmeric
2 ½ tablespoons white vinegar
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
⅓ cup Hellmann's® Mayonnaise
1 teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
4 large fresh basil leaves, finely chopped
¼ cup fresh chives, finely chopped
reserved carrot tops and stem, finely chopped

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the lemon zest, lemon juice, and red onion. Let pickle for about 15 minutes.
  • Remove the stems from the yellow and red bell peppers. Cut off the sides of the peppers, keeping the seeds and tops intact in the centers, then slice into strips and dice into small pieces. Transfer the bell peppers to the bowl with the pickled onion, along with the diced celery, grated carrots, tuna, and pasta. Toss to combine.
  • Make the herb mayo dressing: In a small bowl, combine the cumin seeds, turmeric, white vinegar, Dijon mustard, Hellmann's® Mayonnaise, salt, red pepper flakes, black pepper, basil, chives, and carrot tops. Whisk until smooth.
