15 ounces mandarin oranges (drained)
20 ounces pineapple tidbits (drained)
16 ounces maraschino cherries (drained)
3 cups fruit-flavored mini marshmallows
1 cup pecans (chopped)
1 cup shredded coconut (optional)
1 pint sour cream

Steps:

  • Mix everything except the sour cream together in a large bowl.
  • Fold in sour cream.
  • Chill for 24 hours. Top with extra fruit and nuts if desired. Add a little pineapple juice if the salad is too dry.

1 can (15 ounces) mandarin oranges, drained
1 can (8 ounces) pineapple tidbits, drained
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
1 cup sour cream

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the oranges, pineapple, marshmallows and coconut. Add sour cream and toss to mix. Cover and refrigerate for several hours.

1 cup mandarin orange segments, drained
1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
1 cup sour cream or 1 cup lemon yogurt
1 cup miniature marshmallow

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients except marshmallows; chill for several hours.
  • Add marshmallows right before serving.
  • Also good with chopped pecans added!
  • Note: the original recipe had you mix the marshmallows in at the same time as the other ingredients, but I prefer to add them later as stated to keep them from getting mushy.

1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 (15 ounce) cans fruit cocktail, drained
2 (11 ounce) cans mandarin oranges, drained
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
2 tablespoons sweetened flaked coconut, or more to taste

Steps:

  • Mix pineapple and pudding mix together in a bowl until pudding mixture is smooth. Fold fruit cocktail and oranges into pudding.
  • Fold whipped topping into pudding mixture until smooth; top with coconut.
  • Refrigerate until chilled, at least 30 minutes.
