1-1/2 pounds ground beef
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed tomato soup, undiluted
3/4 cup water
1 envelope taco seasoning
1 tube (16.3 ounces) large refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Optional toppings: Shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, salsa, sliced ripe olives, sour cream and thinly sliced green onions

Steps:

  • Line a 6-qt. slow cooker with a double thickness of heavy-duty foil. Coat with cooking spray., In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink, 6-8 minutes, breaking into crumbles; drain. Stir in soup, water and taco seasoning. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, until slightly thickened, 3-5 minutes., Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces; gently stir into beef mixture. Transfer to slow cooker. Cook, covered, on low until dough is cooked through, 3-4 hours. Sprinkle with cheese. Cook, covered, until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes longer. Serve with toppings of your choice.

1 1/2 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
1 package (1 oz) Old El Paso™ taco seasoning mix
3/4 cup water
1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed tomato soup
1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Southern Homestyle Buttermilk Biscuits (8 Count)
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (8 oz)
2 cups shredded lettuce
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 cup Old El Paso™ Thick 'n Chunky salsa
1 can (2 1/4 oz) sliced ripe olives, drained
1 container (8 oz) sour cream
3 green onions, sliced, if desired

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. In 10-inch skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat 8 to 10 minutes or until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently; drain. Add taco seasoning mix, water and soup; mix well. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; simmer 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Cut each biscuit into 8 pieces. Add pieces to beef mixture; stir gently. Spoon mixture into ungreased 13x9-inch pan.
  • Bake 18 to 23 minutes or until sauce is bubbly and biscuits are golden brown. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 8 to 10 minutes longer or until cheese is bubbly.
  • To serve, cut pizza into 8 squares. Top each serving with remaining ingredients.

This recipe is similar to the Italian Bubble Pizza, with a few changes. I like to add 1 cup of salsa on top of the cheese, after I melt it.

1 lb lean ground beef
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package old el paso taco seasoning mix
3/4 cup water
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
1 (12 ounce) can Pillsbury refrigerated biscuits
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F
  • Brown ground beef in large skillet or pan over medium heat until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain. Add Old El Paso Taco Seasoning Mix, water, and tomato soup, and mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Separate dough from biscuits into 8 biscuits. Cut each biscuit into 8 pieces. Add to ground beef mixture. Stir gently.

2 prebaked 12-inch pizza crusts

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
2 cups chopped lettuce
1 cup diced fresh tomato
1/2 cup sliced ripe olives
1/2 cup sliced green onions

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, baking powder and salt. Add milk and butter; mix well. Press onto the bottom and sides of a 12-to 14-in. pizza pan.
