Instant Swiss Mocha Bliss image

A mixture of instant flavored coffee and instant hot cocoa that looks and tastes like it came from a cafe! Top with a dollop of whipped cream and a pinch of cinnamon!

8 fluid ounces milk
1 tablespoon mocha-flavored instant coffee mix (such as International Coffee® Suisse Mocha)
2 teaspoons white sugar
1 teaspoon powdered chocolate drink mix (such as Nesquik®)

Steps:

  • Microwave milk in an microwave-safe glass or bowl until almost boiling, about 1 minute 45 seconds.
  • Stir coffee mix, sugar, and chocolate mix together in a mug. Pour hot milk over coffee mixture and stir until mixture is dissolved.

1/2 tablespoon butter
2 lbs chuck steaks, cut 1 inch thick
1 envelope onion soup mix
1/2 lb mushroom, sliced
1/2 green pepper, sliced
1 (16 ounce) can diced tomatoes, juice drained and reserved
1/4 teaspoon salt
fresh ground pepper
1 tablespoon A.1. Original Sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
aluminum foil, 20 inch sheet
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Spread center of aluminum foil with butter.
  • Cut steak into serving portions.
  • Arrange on foil, slightly overlapping.
  • Sprinkle with onion soup mix, mushrooms, green pepper, tomatoes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Mix reserved juice from the tomatoes, A-1 sauce and cornstarch.
  • Pour over meat and vegetables.
  • Bring foil up over and double-fold edges to seal tightly.
  • Bake 2 hours in 350 oven.
  • Carefully roll back foil and garnish with parsley.
  • Note- During the last 1 1/2 hours, bake potatoes along side the meat packet and serve with this dish.

2 lbs roast, cut 1-inch thick (chuck or round bottom)
1 (2 ounce) envelope onion soup mix
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1/2 medium green pepper, sliced
1 (20 ounce) can tomatoes, drained and chopped, reserving liquid
salt and pepper
1 tablespoon steak sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes

Steps:

  • Place meat in slow cooker and sprinkle wirh soup mix. Add mushrooms, green pepper slices, and tomatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine remaining ingredients and add enough water to make 1 1/2 cups liquid. Pour over meat and vegetables, and sprinke with parsley flakes. Cover and cook for 8-10 hours.

I received this recipe from a co-worker. It is a really great way to serve venison, but if you prefer, pork chops work just as well.

1 tablespoon butter
2 lbs venison, cut into 1 inch thick chunks or 2 lbs pork chops, sliced 1/2 to 1 inch thick
1 envelope onion soup mix
1/2 large green bell pepper, sliced
1 (10 ounce) can Ro-Tel tomatoes or 1 (10 ounce) can any brand tomatoes and green chilies
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, drain and reserve juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
pepper
1 tablespoon A.1. Original Sauce or 1 tablespoon steak sauce, of choice
1 tablespoon cornstarch
chopped fresh parsley (to garnish)

Steps:

  • Line a 13X9 inch casserole dish with foil- this foil has to be large enough to fold over and seal tightly after the food is arranged in the dish.
  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Spread center of foil with margarine.
  • Cut steak into serving portions and arrange, slightly overlapping on foil.
  • Sprinkle with onion soup mix, green pepper, tomatoes and seasonings.
  • Mix the Steak Sauce with the reserved tomato juice and cornstarch.
  • Pour over meat and vegetables.
  • Bring foil up over and double fold edges to seal tightly.
  • Bake 2 hours.
  • Roll back foil and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
