A little sweet, a little sour, a little sticky but a whole lot of FLAVOR!!!

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 racks baby back style ribs
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
1/4 cup chinese plum sauce or apricot preserves
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp mince garlic

Steps:

  • 1. adjust oven rack 6 inches from broiler. Preheat broiler to high
  • 2. Line baking sheet with foil. Cut rack into indivdual ribs and lay meaty side down close together but not touching
  • 3. In small bowl combine remaining ingredients, Spoon 1/3 sauce over ribs
  • 4. Broil 10 min. Turn ribs meaty side up and spoon 1/3 sauce over ribs.
  • 5. Broil 6 min. then spoon over the remaining sauce over ribs. Broil for an additional 4 min or till ribs are crispy and done
  • 6. Enjoy

11/2 lb baby back pork ribs
1/4 c hoisin sauce
1/4 c chinese plum sauce or apricot preserves
1/4 c rice wine vinegar or white wine vinegar
2 Tbsp soy sauce

  • 1. Adjust oven rack to 6 inches from broiler. Preheat broiler to high
  • 2. line large shallow bakingpan with heavy_duty aluminum foil. cut racksinto individual ribs and arrange ribs meaty side down,close together but not touching.
  • 3. in small bowl;combine remaining ingredients;stir well.Spoo 1/3 sauce over ribs
  • 4. Broil 10mins.Turn ribs meatyside up and spoon on additional 1/3 sauce
  • 5. Broil ribs 6 mins;then spoon on remaining 1/3 sauce; broil an additional 4 min or until ribs are crispy and done.

¼ cup Chinese Plum Sauce or Apricot Preserves
¼ cup Rice Wine Vinegar or White Wine Vinegar
2 Tlb. Soy Sauce
2 Teas. Minced Garlic

Steps:

  • Adjust oven rack to 6-inches from broiler. Preheat broiler to high. Line large shallow baking pan with heavy duty aluminum foil.Cut ribs into individual finger and arrange meaty side down, close together but not touching. In small bowl,combine remaining ingredients,stir well. Spoon 1/3 sauce over ribs. Broil 10 minutes. Turn ribs meaty side up and spoon on additional 1/3 sauce. Broil ribs 6 minutes,then spoon on remaining 1/3 sauce. Broil an additional 4 minutes or until ribs are crispy and done. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced scallions before serving and set outextra plum sauce on the side.NOTE: Fried rice is the perfect accompaniment to these ribs. Begin rice first, then prepare ribs. While they broil, fry up the rice.
