Steps:
- In large pot, bring water, sugar, and gelatin to boiling; stirring to dissolve sugar and gelatin.
- Chill about 1 hour or until slightly thickened.
- Stir in pineapple juice and lemon juice.
- Divide mixture among 8 quart size resealable plastic freezer bags. Seal bags and freeze until firm.
- To serve, let bags of juice mixture stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Empty bags into large punch bowl.
- Add ginger ale.
- Break up mixture with spoon until it is a slushy consistency.
- Serve immediately.

PINEAPPLE, WATERMELON & STRAWBERRY SLUSHES
This is an old BH&G recipe, I've posted it as written but I adapted it slightly when I made it, I used about 3/4 punnet stawbs & added the pineapple to the blender too. This is lovely & refreshing, perfect to quench your thirst on a hot day.

- Freeze fruit for approx 1 hour.
- Blend watermelon & strawberries in a food processor until smooth.
- Spoon pineapple into a glass, top with fruit slush and add lemonade & vodka if using.

- In a saucepan, dissolve the sugar in the water by bringing it to a boil over medium-high heat. Turn off the heat and allow it to cool.
- Combine the sugar water with the pineapple juice, lemonade, orange juice and pureed strawberries in a 6-quart container. Mix in the rum to taste. Put the entire mixture into a large plastic ice cream pail and freeze overnight.
- To make the drinks to order, scoop 1/2 cup of the frozen mixture into an 8 oz glass. Fill the glass with lemon-lime soda and serve with a straw. Keeps well in freezer for up to one month.
