STRAWBERRIES ROMANOV
This is a very simple recipe, but it is big on taste and an elegant dessert any time, and we enjoy it in the summer. It also can be pretty economical, especially if you buy an "airplane bottle" of the orange liqueur, which is the perfect amount for this recipe.

Steps:
- 1. In a bowl, combine cut strawberries, 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup triple sec. Stir, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour, stirring a couple times during this time, making sure all sugar is dissolved.
- 2. Before serving, in large mixing bowl, whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form. Gently fold in sour cream until thoroughly blended.
- 3. To serve, stir the strawberries and divide them between 4 serving glasses or bowls. Drizzle any remaining syrup over the berries, then divide whipped cream mixture over them.
- 4. It is best to serve this immediately, but it can be held over in the refrigerator for 1/2 hour or so.
