Here's what you need: butter, shrimp, salt, black pepper, garlic, bacon, baby spinach, heavy cream, fettuccine pasta, grated parmesan cheese, fresh parsley

Number Of Ingredients 11

2 tablespoons butter
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ lb bacon, cooked, cut into small strips
7 oz baby spinach
1 ½ cups heavy cream
1 lb fettuccine pasta, cooked
¾ cup grated parmesan cheese
⅓ cup fresh parsley, chopped

Steps:

  • In a large pot, heat the butter over medium-high heat until browned.
  • Toss in the shrimp and season with salt and black pepper. Sear just until pink on both sides. Remove the shrimp from the pot and set aside.
  • Sauté the garlic and bacon until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add in the spinach and stir until it begins to wilt.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir the pot to combine. Let the sauce come up to a simmer and reduce until thick and creamy, about 5 minutes.
  • Toss in the fettuccine, sprinkle over the parmesan cheese.
  • Sprinkle in the parsley and add the shrimp back to the pot. Toss until everything has warmed through.
  • Remove from heat and serve. Top with a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
  • Enjoy!

1 pound uncooked fettuccine
1 package (6 ounces) baby spinach
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 pound uncooked shrimp (31-40 per pound), peeled and deveined
2 medium plum tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Cook fettuccine according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute spinach in oil for 2 minutes or until spinach begins to wilt. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. , Add the shrimp, tomatoes, Italian seasoning and salt; saute 2-3 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Drain fettuccine and add to skillet; toss to coat. Sprinkle with cheese.

I got this off the back of some store-brand fettucine noodles and gave it a try. Dh said to make sure I kept the recipe! It is very rich and I usually decrease the salt and dried basil to help that a bit, and I thinned it down just a bit with milk, but otherwise it's a fancy-looking dish with very little effort.

1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon salt
3 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped
2 teaspoons dried basil, crushed
8 ounces fettuccine pasta, uncooked
1 (10 ounce) package frozen spinach, thawed
12 ounces medium shrimp (uncooked, peeled, & deveined)

Steps:

  • Combine sour cream, feta, red pepper, salt, garlic, and basil.
  • Set aside.
  • Cook fettucine according to pkg directions, but after first 8 minutes, add spinach and shrimp to boiling water/pasta.
  • Boil 2 more minutes.
  • Drain thoroughly.
  • Add hot pasta/shrimp mixture to sour cream mixture; toss lightly.
  • Serve immediately.

Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo over Spinach Noodles image

This was the only dish my father ever made, but it was so rich tasting, he fooled everyone into thinking he could cook! His trick was a bit of blue cheese in the alfredo sauce. I prefer shrimp in this dish, but chicken would work as well. If you opt for shrimp, use jumbo large shrimp so that they can stand-up against this thick sauce and spinach noodles. This dish is fairly simple with few ingredients... but make sure that your serving dishes, tools and ingredients are prepped beforehand in order to help with fast timing. Shrimp and fresh pasta are easy to over-cook (Or is that just me?).

1/4-1/2 lb of fresh spinach fettuccine
1/2-3/4 lb jumbo shrimp (cleaned and deveined)
your favorite thick alfredo sauce (Or you can make your own)
2 -4 tablespoons blue cheese (divided)
2 tablespoons butter
2 -3 tablespoons fresh parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons fresh ground black pepper
1 teaspoon kosher salt

Steps:

  • Get your pasta water boiling and add a pinch of salt.
  • In a saucepan, warm (or create) your alfredo sauce over med-low heat, stirring occasionally. (About 7-10 minutes).
  • Add a pinch (about 1 - 2 tbl depending on taste) of blue cheese to your alfredo sauce, stir and turn the heat down to low.
  • Add your spinach noodles and cook according to package instructions.
  • In a saute pan, melt tbl of butter and begin to lightly brown your shrimp over med to med-high heat.
  • Salt and Pepper the shrimp and remove from the heat when cooked. Keep them warm in the pan.
  • Quickly drain and plate the fettuccini noodles.
  • Pour the alfredo sauce over the noodles, sprinkling blue cheese to-taste over the top.
  • Add your shrimp and serve with Freshly grated Parmesan cheese and cracked pepper!

3 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 pound large uncooked shrimp, peeled, deveined
2 cups thinly sliced fennel bulb (about 1 large bulb)
1/4 teaspoon dried crushed pepper
1/4 cup chopped drained oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 1/2 teaspoons grated orange peel
1 bottle clam juice
2 teaspoons dried basil
1 pound spinach fettuccine, freshly cooked

Steps:

  • Heat oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and saute' until just cooked through, about 3 minutes. Using slotted spoon, transter shrimp to bowl. Add fennel and dried crushed red pepper to same skillet and saute' until fennel begins to soften, about 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, garlic and orange peel and stir 1 minute. Add clam juice and basil and simmer about 4 minutes to blend flavors. Add pasta and shrimp and toss until sauce coats pasta, about 2 minutes.

Remove garlic from pan with a slotted spoon; place in a small bowl. Increase heat to medium-high. Add shrimp, salt, and pepper to pan; cook 4 minutes or until shrimp are done, stirring occasionally. 1 box fettuccine pasta
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 clove garlic
2 Tbsp butter, melted
1 Tbsp olive oil, light
1 1/2 lb fresh spinach
dash(es) salt and pepper
1/2 Tbsp parsley
1/2 tsp italian bread crumbs

Steps:

  • 1. Place fettuccine pasta in a medium pot, of 4 cup of water. Bring it to a boil, and place pasta into hot water. Season the Shrimp with lemon, olive oil, salt and pepper.
  • 2. In a serparate sauce pan put peeled and deveined shrimp in to the pan with olive oil and butter. Put the garlic in to the pan and let it sutee until it firm but soft. Then proceed to place shrimp into the pan. As the shrimp start to cook, 2 mintues before your shrimp starts to get tender, put in your spianch and simmer about 15 min. Set aside until pasta is ready. Then place pasta into a serving tray and top with Scampi. Best served hot. Sprinkle bread crumbs and fresh parsley as garnishment. Enjoy your family will love it.
