500 grams Raw Walnuts
1/3 Cup Honey
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
large pinch of Garam Masala
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
1/4 Teaspoon Chili Powder ((adjust per taste))
1 Tablespoon Butter
1/3 Cup Light Brown Sugar

Steps:

  • Pre-heat Oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking tray with a silicone mat.
  • In a bowl mix brown sugar, chilli powder, cinnamon powder, salt and garm masala.
  • Microwave honey and butter for 15-20 seconds in a microwave-safe bowl. Mix well.
  • Add Walnut and mix till well incorporated.
  • Spread walnut in the lined baking tray evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Stir it once midway and bake again.
  • Remove baked walnuts from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
  • Sprinkle brown sugar-spice mixture all over and toss well.
  • Spread Walnuts in a single layer, until they are completely cooled and crispy to touch.
  • Keep in an airtight container at room temperature.

1 Cup Walnuts
3 Tablespoons Honey
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Chili Flakes
1 Teaspoon Paprika

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven to 350 Fahrenheit/ 180 Celsius.
  • Heat up a pan and add your honey with the salt, chili flakes and paprika powder to it. Let the honey melt and mix everything well.
  • Add your walnut halves to the honey "sauce" and mix everything well so that your walnuts are covered well.
  • Prepare a baking tray with a baking sheet and spread the honey covered walnuts onto the baking sheet.
  • Roast the walnuts in the oven for about 8 mins at 350 Fahrenheit/ 180 Celsius.
  • Let the walnuts cool down before you serve them up.
