I LOVE ICECREAM! My naturopath has put me on the South Beach diet to control my blood sugar levels so I invented this milkshake which is pretty yummy and is even suitable for phase 1.

Number Of Ingredients 6

4 -6 ice cubes
1 cup skim milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon Splenda sugar substitute
cocoa (optional)
cinnamon (optional)

Steps:

  • Crush ice cubes in blender.
  • Add remaining ingredients.
  • Blend and enjoy!
  • I accidently added cinnamon instead of cocoa and had a yummy surprise, so experiment!

1/2 cup nonfat plain yogurt
3 ounces firm silken tofu
1/4 cup dry-roasted almonds
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar substitute

  • Process almonds first in a blender. Add all other ingredients and process.
