SNAKEWICH WITH VENOM SAUCE
Our Halloween party is so big, I hold it in the street. This sandwich shaped like a snake is tasty and a scary good centerpiece. -Suzanne Clark, Phoenix, Arizona

Steps:
- Thaw dough according to package directions. Roll dough from each loaf into a 2-in.-thick log, shaping one end of one log to resemble a snake head and one end of the second log to resemble a rattle., Transfer to greased baking sheets, curving slightly to resemble a snake. Cover with kitchen towels; let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 45 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°., Brush dough with melted butter; sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pans to wire racks to cool completely., Cut a roasted pepper into a 3-in.-long strip to make a snake tongue; set aside. Finely chop remaining peppers and place in a bowl; stir in mayonnaise, pepperoncini and garlic., On a large cutting board, trim off the plain end of each loaf, leaving head and rattle ends intact. Cut each loaf horizontally in half. Connect bottom halves to make a snake; layer with meat, cheese, tomatoes and 4 cups sliced lettuce. Spread top halves with 1 cup sauce; place over lettuce. Insert snake tongue., For grass, arrange remaining lettuce around sandwich. Insert pretzel sticks to attach pickle slices and olives for eyes. Using a serrated knife, cut sandwich into 20 slices; serve with remaining sauce.

LEMON SNACKING CAKE WITH COCONUT GLAZE
With a poundcake-like texture and zippy lemon flavor, this tender treat is loaded with grated citrus zest and topped with a sweet, mellow coconut frosting. Like many snacking cakes, it's easily whisked together without a mixer, and quick to bake. Perfect as an afternoon pick-me-up, it goes as well with a glass of milk as it does with mugs of coffee, tea or hot cocoa.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9-by-9-inch pan, and then line with parchment paper, letting the two long ends hang over the edge of the pan by at least 2 inches.
- Grate 2 tablespoons of zest from the lemons. Juice the lemons so you have 1/4 cup/60 milliliters juice. Add juice and zest to a medium bowl, then whisk in oil, sour cream, coconut milk and eggs.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Whisk wet mixture into dry mixture until smooth.
- Scrape batter into baking pan and spread in an even layer. Sprinkle evenly with shredded sweetened coconut. Bake until the top of the cake springs back when lightly pressed in the center, and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean, 35 to 45 minutes. Let cool completely.
- When cake is cool, make the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut milk, oil and salt. Whisk in the confectioners' sugar until smooth. Pour over the cake, and grate some lemon zest over the top. Let the glaze set for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Steps:
- You will also need: 1 40x20 cake board covered in foil or paper Cut each bundt cake in half, NOT horizontally, vertically.
- Position pieces end to end to make a serpentine shape (like an"S" on it's side) Set it on the cake board with a little bit of frosting as the glue.
- Tint your frosting whatever color you'd like your snake to be.
- I did a green color.
- Frost entire length of cake with the colored frosting, frosting halfway down the sides.
- If you do the whole thing you'll need another can or two of frosting.
- Place the chocolate chips in a zip bag.
- Microwave on MEDIUM (50%) power for 20 to 30 seconds.
- Mush the bag a bit and microwave 20 more seconds on medium power until chocolate is melted.
- Clip the corner of the bag and use it to make a diamond pattern along the snake's back.
- cut the fruit roll-up into a strip that has a forked tongue shape on the end and set under one end of the cake Decorate the eyes and nostrils with the candies (I use M&M's).
