Yield 4 cups.

Number Of Ingredients 9

3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
3 cups finely chopped cooked chicken
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 cup coarsely chopped smoked almonds
Assorted crackers

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, mix the first 5 ingredients. Stir in chicken, celery and almonds. Refrigerate, covered, at least 2 hours., Serve with crackers.

I found this recipe at Taste of Home. I really love chicken & this is pretty special. Use for an appetizer on crackers or for sandwich making. Time does not include cooking time for chicken or refrigeration time for completed spread.

3 c already cooked, finely chopped chicken
1/2 c finely chopped celery
1/2 c coarsely chopped smoked almonds
3/4 c low fat mayonnaise
1/4 c finely chopped onion
1 Tbsp honey
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
1/8 tsp pepper

Steps:

  • 1. In a large bowl, combine first 8 ingredients.
  • 2. Cover, and chill at least 2 hours.
  • 3. Serve with crackers. Makes 4 cups. Makes 32 appetizers. Or, about 5 sandwiches.
