1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed chicken gumbo soup
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 ¼ cups water
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • In large skillet over medium heat, brown meat. Drain any grease from pan.
  • Stir in soup, ketchup, yellow mustard, water, salt and pepper. Turn heat to medium-low; simmer uncovered for about 1 hour until liquid is absorbed and mixture is thickened.

1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed chicken gumbo soup, undiluted
3/4 cup ketchup

  • In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add the soup, ketchup and mustard; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 5-10 minutes or until mixture reaches desired thickness. Serve on buns.

2 teaspoons vinegar
1 teaspoon prepared mustard

1/2 cup ketchup
1 (10.5 ounce) can chicken gumbo soup
1/3 teaspoon black pepper
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
1 Tablespoon prepared mustard
1/2 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon sage (optional)

Steps:

  • Brown the ground beef and the onions in a large skillet.
  • Drain the ground beef.

1 lb lean ground beef
1 cup diced yellow onions
10.5 oz Campbell's condensed chicken gumbo soup
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp ketchup
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tbsp onion powder
4 large Brioche buns (or 6 regular hamburger buns)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400F for toasting the buns.
  • Dump the ground beef into a large saute pan over medium-high heat.
  • Add the diced onions to the pan with the ground beef.
  • Crumble the ground beef well as it cooks.
  • Once the ground beef is fully cooked, drain the grease from the pan and reduce the heat to medium.
  • Add the chicken gumbo soup, yellow mustard, ketchup, salt, pepper and onion powder to the pan.
  • Stir all of the ingredients together well.
  • Leave the mixture to simmer until the liquid in the pan thickens. About 4 minutes.
  • Reduce the heat to low.
  • Place the buns in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Place the baking sheet in the oven and toast the buns until they are lightly browned. 4-6 minutes.
