M'S SLOPPY JOE SAUCE
The strong flavors in this dish are very satisfying. Always a family hit. Ground beef or ground chicken can easily be substituted for the turkey.

SLOPPY JOE SAUCE
Got this from a co-worker over 10 years ago, and haven't quit making it since! A little bit sweet, but a touch of zip form the chili powder and vinegar. It's easy to expand the recipe to serve a crowd, too.

HOMEMADE SLOPPY JOE SAUCE
I love Sloppy Joes, but really don't like the taste of the canned products. This is what I came up with.

Steps:
- Sautee onion and bell pepper until mostly done, add ground beef and cook until browned. (I go light on the meat... but I'm sure you can add what works for your family.)
- Add all remaining ingredients, bring to slow boil, cover and slow cook for at least an hour. (I went 3 with mine.)
- Serve on toasted hamburger buns... or however you prefer. (I served this with homemade Jojos (steak fries).
