- Add all the ingredients to your bread machine in the order required by your bread machine (this is the proper order for the machine I have,)
- Set the machine for the regular-style loaf, dark crust (if you have that option)
- Remove the loaf from the machine when it is done baking. Let it cool completely on a rack before slicing.

RUSTIC RYE BREAD RECIPE FOR BREAD MACHINE
This rye bread recipe produces one medium size loaf. Baking times can slightly vary depending on your bread machine baking cycle.

Steps:
- Add the water, sugar, milk, salt, and flour to the bread machine.
- Add 2 ½ teaspoons of bread machine yeast. Active dry yeast or instant yeast will work as well.
- Close the lid and set the baking cycle to Basic or White Bread Cycle. Press start.
- About 5 to 10 minutes before the end of the kneading cycle, add two teaspoons of caraway seeds.
- Let the bread machine finish the baking cycle. Once finished, remove the bread pan and place the loaf on a cooling rack for 15-20 minutes before slicing.

RYE, WHEAT, WHITE BREAD; BREAD MACHINE RECIPE
Our most popular bread recipe for our bread machine. My wife and I have been making our own bread for about 15 years now and we are on our 4th bread machine. This recipe is the family favorite, and makes the best french bread (remove the caraway seeds) bar none. For one sleep-over for our daughter we went through four 1 1/2 pound loaves for @ 6 teenaged girls and a couple of parents.

Steps:
- follow the directions for your particular brerad machine when adding the ingredients. Our machine starts with the warm water and other liquids first.
- Add the dry ingredients in order with the yeast on top.
- Set the machine to the Wheat Bread cycle, 1.5 lb loaf size, light or medium crust color.
- Add the Whole Caraway Seeds when the fruit/nut beeper goes off, If your machine doesn't have a fruit/nut beeper the add the caraway seeds last.
