What a refreshing drink for a hot summer day! The mix of coconut and lime is such a delightfully satisfying combo.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 1/2 c ice
3/4 c rum**
1/4 c coconut cream
1/4 c key lime juice (or frozen lime juice concentrate)
1 dash(es) water
**(you can use any kind rum and add coconut cream, or you can use coconut rum)

Steps:

  • 1. Combine liquids, pour into blender.
  • 2. Add ice, blend till frothy.
  • 3. Pour into frosted glasses and enjoy!
  • 4. Wowee Zowee! I made this yesterday using DARK rum, and it developed into a whole nother drink -- it was dark and frothy, looked like a coffee drink, and the taste was quite a surprise. my hubby went nuts, said it was his favorite.

This is so yummy! I can remember as a young teenager sneaking into the back freezer and getting some of this, but only a little at a time! My parents thought they hid it well in the large freezer, but I was always determined to find it. (Cooking time is freezing time)(Serving is approximately)

1 (750 ml) bottle rum
1 (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice
1 (32 ounce) can pineapple juice
1 can pineapple chunk
1 bottle cherries
32 fluid ounces 7-Up soda
1 can cream of coconut

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together.
  • Put in freezer and stir about every hour.
  • Start in freezer at least 4 hours before serving.

Wonderful tropical punch, great for any summertime get-together. Make it a cocktail by adding a shot of vodka or coconut rum to your serving! (cooking time does not include freezing or refrigeration time)

1 (6 ounce) jar maraschino cherries (not drained)
3 bananas
2 cups grapefruit juice
2 cups orange juice
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple (not drained)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 (28 ounce) bottles Sprite, chilled (diet is okay)

Steps:

  • Cut the bananas into chunks. Put the cherries (with juice) and bananas in a blender, cover, and process until well blended.
  • Combine banana mixture, grapefruit juice, orange juice, and pineapples with their juice and mix well. Pour into a 13x9 baking pan. Freeze.
  • Place the pan in the refrigerator 1 hour befor serving.
  • To serve, put about 1/2 cup of slush into a serving glass (with or without ice). Fill glass with Sprite and mix until blended.
