This is great all the time, but really great for Christmas. Washington Red Skin Apples work best

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 ½ cups vegetable oil
2 cups white sugar
3 eggs
3 cups self-rising flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups apples - peeled, cored and diced
1 ½ cups chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  • Cream together oil, sugar, and eggs. Blend in flour, cinnamon, and vanilla. Stir in chopped apples and nuts. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  • Bake for 1 hour, or until done. Cool.

There is no great story to this recipe. It's just good!

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups wesson oil
3 eggs
3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 cups apples, diced
1 cup black walnuts, chopped
1 cup flaked coconut

Steps:

  • 1. Mix sugar, oil, and eggs. Sift flour, soda, and salt; add to mixture gradually.
  • 2. Add vanilla, then apples, walnuts, and coconut.
  • 3. Pour into greased tube pan and bake in pre-heated oven at 350 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
