1 Onion
2 cups Water
1 can Diced tomatoes
1 bottle Heinz 57 Sauce
salt
1 teaspoon Sugar
1 cup Elbow Macaroni Noodles

Steps:

  • 1. Dice onions. 2. Brown onion and meat in medium skillet. 3. Stir in water, tomatoes, Heinz 57, salt, sugar, pepper and salt. Add the macaroni noodles. 4. Boil mixture in skillet and reduce to low heat for 15 to 20 minutes.

1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon shortening
2 cups hot water
1 (16 ounce) tomatoes
1/4 cup Heinz 57 steak sauce
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 dash pepper
1 cup macaroni
parsley

Steps:

  • Brown ground beef and onions in shortening in a skillet. Drain off excess fat. Stir in hot water, tomatoes, 57 sauce, salt, sugar, and pepper. Add macaroni; mix well. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Simmer, uncovered, 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until macaroni is tender. Garnish with minced parsley.
