- In large pot, combine first 3 ingredients. Cook on medium heat, stirring to make sure that all of the sugar dissolves. Boil the sugar mixture until it reaches 300 degrees, or until it hardens into threads when a dropped into cold water (15-20 minutes). Once you reach 300 degrees you can remove it from the heat, and add a few drops of food coloring and/or flavoring. Pour into a sided cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Allow to cool either by allowing it to sit, or put it in the refrigerator. Once candy has hardened, break into pieces.

- 2. melt white chocolate squares in mirowave i min or until just melted [dont over cook]
- 3. Stir in crushed star mints,food coloring and pepermint extract.
- 4. Spread on wax paper let harden,Brake into pieces.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a cookie sheet.
- In a large bowl, cream the margarine and sugar together. Add the eggs one at a time, mix well. Stir in the milk and vanilla. Sift together the flour, salt and baking powder; stir into the creamed mixture until everything is well blended. Drop cookie dough by heaping spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheet.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. The tops of the cookies should spring back to the touch like a cake. Cool on wire racks before frosting.
