2 cups flour (preferably whole wheat flour or white whole wheat flour )
1/2 cup natural peanut butter (Make sure to use peanut butter that does not contain XYLITOL)
2 eggs
1/4 cup water

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  • Combine flour, eggs, and peanut butter in a large bowl to make a thick crumbly dough. Add water, one tablespoon at a time, until you can form the dough into a large ball.
  • On a clean floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick. Use cookie cutters or a knife to cut into individual treats. Place the treats on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Let cool before feeding!

2 ½ cups whole wheat flour
2 eggs
½ cup canned pumpkin
2 tablespoons peanut butter
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Whisk together the flour, eggs, pumpkin, peanut butter, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl. Add water as needed to help make the dough workable, but the dough should be dry and stiff. Roll the dough into a 1/2-inch-thick roll. Cut into 1/2-inch pieces.
  • Bake in preheated oven until hard, about 40 minutes.

Vegetable oil cooking spray
2 cups whole wheat flour, plus more for dusting
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 cup low sodium chicken broth
1 cup creamy peanut butter, at room temperature
1/4 cup grated Parmesan

Steps:

  • Place an oven rack in the center of the oven and preheat to 375 degrees F. Spray a heavy baking sheet with vegetable oil cooking spray or line with a silicon baking mat. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, oats and baking powder. Stir in the broth and peanut butter until the mixture forms a crumbly dough. Press the dough together to form a ball.
  • On a lightly floured work surface, knead the dough for 30 seconds until smooth. Roll out the dough into a 10-inch circle, about 1/2-inch thick. Using a bone-shape cookie cutter, cut out bones and place on the prepared baking sheet (any scraps of dough can be formed into a ball and re-rolled). Sprinkle with the Parmesan.
  • Bake until light golden, 20 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

2 cups uncooked oatmeal
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 cups hot water

Steps:

  • mix together flour,oatmeal, and peanut butter.
  • add hot water to make firm dough. Use more water if dough is too dry.
  • Knead dough on a floured surface. a counter works well.
  • Roll dough with a rolling pin or flatten with your hands until it is about a 1/4 inch thick. Keep a little flour in case the rolling pin or your hands get sticky.
  • cut dough with your favorite cookie cutter.
  • grease a cookie sheet with cooking spray.
  • place biscuits on cookie sheet.
  • bake in 350 degree oven for 40 minutes
  • let biscuits cool for an hour and put in the fridge.
