Peanut butter and jelly are sandwiched between crackers and then quartered to make sweet and savory croutons for this awesome salad for two.

12 woven wheat crackers
1 Tbsp. creamy peanut butter
1 Tbsp. grape jelly
2 cups tightly packed torn lettuce
1 cup seedless red grapes, cut in half
1/2 cup PLANTERS Dry Roasted Unsalted Peanuts, toasted
1/4 cup KRAFT Classic Ranch Dressing

Steps:

  • Spread 6 crackers with peanut butter, then spread remaining crackers with jelly. Press peanut butter and jelly sides together to make 6 cracker sandwiches. Cut each sandwich in half, then cut each piece in half again to make 4 pieces.
  • Toss lettuce with grapes and nuts in medium bowl.
  • Drizzle with dressing just before serving; top with filled cracker pieces.

2 slices white bread
1 teaspoon peanut butter
2 teaspoons any flavor fruit jelly

Steps:

  • Heat griddle or skillet to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. Spread peanut butter on unbuttered side of one slice of bread, and jelly on the other. Place one slice, buttered side down on the griddle. Top with other slice, so that peanut butter and jelly are in the middle. Cook for 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown, and heated through.

2 slices whole wheat bread (preferably soft)
1 teaspoon butter, the secret ingredient
1 tablespoon peanut butter (I use organic smooth)
2 teaspoons strawberry jam (I use Trader Joe's low sugar)

Steps:

  • Spread a half teaspoon of butter on each slice of bread.
  • Spread one slice with peanut butter.
  • Swirl jam into peanut butter.
  • Cover with other slice of bread.
