FROZEN PEACH CRANBERRY YOGURT POPS (KID FRIENDLY)



Frozen Peach Cranberry Yogurt Pops (Kid Friendly) image

If you don't have any popsicle molds you can use 175 gram plastic containers or cups. Cooking time is freezing time. This is kid friendly but kids of all ages enjoy these lol! You can really make these using any canned fruit you like, I have made these using canned pears!

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 (28 ounce) can sliced peaches in juice
1/4 cup sugar (for a sweeter taste use more sugar)
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt (regular or low-fat or peach flavored)
2 cups sweetened cranberry juice

Steps:

  • Drain the peaches reserving about 1/4 of the juice.
  • In a blender or food processor puree the peaches and reserved 1/4 cup juice and sugar until smooth.
  • Using on/off turns add in the yogurt.
  • Divide the the mixture between popsicle molds or cups.
  • Freeze for about 1 hour or until partially set.
  • Insert one stick in the center of each pop.
  • Pour and divide the cranberry juice on top of each pop.
  • Cover the mold lightly with plastic wrap and freeze until completely firm (about 6 hours).

Always looking for ways to use up fruit before it goes bad. These yogurt pops are healthy and refreshing and my kids LOVE them! Great basic recipe to use for a variety of fruits.

½ cup fresh peaches - peeled, pitted, and sliced
½ cup fresh blackberries
1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon honey, or more to taste

Steps:

  • Combine peaches and blackberries in the bowl of a food processor; pulse until pureed. Mix pureed fruit, yogurt, and honey together in a bowl. Pour mixture into popsicle molds.
  • Freeze for 6 hours to overnight. Run warm water over molds to loosen the yogurt pops. Remove and wrap individually for freezer storage.

1 cup plain low-fat yogurt
1 can (15.25 oz.) peach halves in heavy syrup, drained
1/4 cup KOOL-AID Lemonade Flavor Sugar-Sweetened Drink Mix

Steps:

  • Blend ingredients in blender until smooth.
  • Pour into 6 (5-oz.) paper cups; cover with foil. Insert wooden pop stick into center of each cup.
  • Freeze 4 hours or until firm. Peel off paper cups just before serving.
