PARMESAN-ROASTED GREEN BEANS
This simple recipe for roasted green beans is very tasty and kid-friendly.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Coat a baking dish with cooking spray.
- Place trimmed green beans into the prepared baking dish. Season with sea salt, pepper, and garlic powder; toss to coat. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
- Roast in the preheated oven until cheese melts and forms a crisp shell over beans, about 10 minutes. Serve immediately.

- Heat dressing in large skillet on medium heat. Add mushrooms, onions and garlic; cook 5 min. or until vegetables are tender and liquid is evaporated, stirring occasionally.
- Add beans and tomatoes; stir. Cook 5 to 7 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
- Sprinkle with cheeses; cover. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 min. or until mozzarella is melted.

SKILLET GREEN BEANS
These green beans couldn't be easier. Made in my favorite cast-iron skillet, they're seasoned with lemon zest and juice, garlic and Parmesan.

- Heat the oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the green beans and garlic and season with salt and pepper. Add the broth. Cover and cook just until the beans are crisp-tender, about 8 minutes.
- Just before serving, stir in the lemon juice. Top with the lemon zest and Parmesan.
PARMESAN GREEN BEANS

- Snap ends off green beans, and cook.
- Meanwhile, heat oil in skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and shallots and cook to soften.
- Toss with cooked green beans.
- Add Parmesan and toss.
- Serve immediately.
GREEN BEANS WITH PARMESAN AND GARLIC
When our beautiful son was young, he would eat peas, broccoli, etc. When he turned 13 years old he became convinced that "green" anything was just too "gross." This recipe is one of the few he will eat that is not fried to a crisp. My DH and I love it too! Season to your taste...i.e. salt and pepper.

Steps:
- "Snap" and remove the "strings" from the beans.
- Combine the beans with enough water to cover in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer for 6 to 8 minutes or until "tender-crisp.".
- Drain and plunge the beans into a large bowl of ice water to immediately stop the cooking; drain.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil to medium heat and saute the garlic, with the salt and pepper.
- Add the lemon juice, beans and mix well.
- Saute until all is heated through.
- Before serving, sprinkle with the parmesan cheese.
