1 pkg original oreos (not double stuffed), crushed
1 pkg (8oz.) cream cheese softened
splash of vanilla extract
1 pkg dark chocolate candy coating or almond bark

  • 1. Cream the cream cheese until fluffy. Add crushed Oreos and mix together well. Add splash of vanilla. Line 2 cookie sheets with waxed or parchment paper.

Number Of Ingredients 3

1 pkg oreos
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese - softened
8 oz of baking chocolate

Steps:

  • 1. Place oreos in the food processor & pulse until roughly chopped (or a blender is fine)
  • 2. Add softened cream cheese and process until completely combined. (Or use a mixer once the oreos are all chopped up) Make sure the cream cheese is soft and then cut it up as added it to the Oreo mix. If you don't have a food processor you can use a mixer and it takes a little more work.
  • 3. Roll into balls and place on wax paper. (I use a melon baller that works like an ice cream scoop)
  • 4. Place in freezer until firm.
  • 5. Melt chocolate according to directions on package.
  • 6. Using a toothpick dip balls into chocolate to cover, place back on wax paper
  • 7. Place in freezer to harden. Eat and enjoy
  • 8. You can also do White chocolate and use Melting Chips and follow these directions for melting chips: 1. Melt chips according to package. 2. Pour melted chips in ziplock bag and cut the top off one corner. 3. Drizzle with the melted chocolate chips as desired. 4. Let chocolate set and serve.
  • 9. You can use the almond bark or you can use the one in a red package I think called candies which comes with a tray you can microwave in. Makes it easier but the almond bark is less expensive.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 package Oreos
1 package cream cheese
Vanilla almond bark
Chocolate almond bark

Steps:

  • Crush up entire package of Oreos with a food processer. Mix in cream cheese. Roll mixture into walnut sized balls and chill for 1 hour. Melt vanilla almond bark in microwave and dip balls. Place in refrigerator to harden. Drizzle Oreo balls with melted chocolate. ***For fancier candies, use a bon bon candy mold. With a paintbrush, paint melted almond bark up the sides of each bon bon opening. Place candy mold in the freezer for 3-5 minutes. Pull mold out of freezer and put approximately 1 teaspoon of Oreo mixture in bon bon opening and press firmly. Leave room at the top to cover Oreo mixture with more almond bark. Tap mold on counter to ensure that chocolate covers all sides and removes air bubbles. Place mold back in freezer for 5 minutes. Candy will be hard and pop out of the mold. Drizzle bon bons with dark chocolate. Store in freezer or refrigerator.
