OHIO HOT CHICKEN SANDWICHES RECIPE

Ohio Hot Chicken Sandwiches Recipe image

Provided by Joyce-2

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 cans Costco canned chicken breast undrained
3/4 Chicken Broth
1 tbsp Wondra quick mixing flour (this is a wonderful secret to thicken sauces and gravy without it being lumpy)
Buns of choice toasted
NOTE: If your a cheese lover add a slice of cheese or shredded cheese to sandwich.

Steps:

  • 1. Place chicken undrained in cooker. Break up the chunks to shred. 2. Add chicken broth to cover and bring to a low boil and continue to break up chicken and stir often. 3. Cook until most of the broth is gone and there's enough left to add Wondra to thicken and make a sauce. 4. Continue to stir until chicken is thick enough for sandwiches (kind of like sloppy joe consistency.) 5. If you need to add a little chicken broth do. Serve on toasted buns, lettuce wraps or tortillas
