1 (750 ml) bottle red wine (I use a cheap red)
2 cups orange juice
1 (12 ounce) can diet ginger ale (best to use diet, for it's sweetness)
1 orange (sliced)
sliced orange, limes and lemons to garnish

Steps:

  • Mix the wine, O.J. and ginger ale.
  • Slice orange and throw inches.
  • Serve on ice, garnish with sliced fruit.
  • Note: I keep frozen berries (raspberries and strawberries) in the freezer, and often throw some of those in too!
  • Enjoy!

1 1/2 gallons Burgundy wine
1 liter mango syrup
1/2 gallon lemonade
1 quart orange juice

Steps:

  • This makes a large amount of Sangria, make sure you have a container large enough to accomodate the ingredients.
  • Mix all the ingredients and let chill in the refrigerator for a few hours.
  • Add fruit if you'd like.
  • Use your imagination and ENJOY!

Embrace balmy summer days with a jug of sangria. With red wine, Spanish brandy, sparkling water, cinnamon and chopped fruit, it's a lovely sharing cocktail

2 oranges , chopped
2 pears , chopped
2 lemons , 1 chopped, 1 juiced
200g red berries , chopped (we used strawberries and cherries)
3 tbsp caster sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
ice
750ml bottle light red wine
100ml Spanish brandy
300ml sparkling water

Steps:

  • Put the chopped fruit in a bowl and sprinkle over the sugar and cinnamon, then stir to coat. Cover and leave to macerate in the fridge for at least 1 hr, or ideally overnight.
  • Fill a large jug with ice. Stir the macerated fruit mixture to ensure the sugar is dissolved, then tip into the jug with the wine and brandy. Stir, then top up with the sparkling water and serve.

Number Of Ingredients 14

1 (1 1/2 liter) bottle dry red wine, divided
2 tablespoons brandy
2 tablespoons triple sec (orange-flavored liqueur)
1/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup fresh orange juice
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
5 whole cloves
3 whole allspice
1 (3 inch) cinnamon sticks
2 cups sparkling water, chilled
8 orange wedges
5 lemon slices
5 lime slices

Steps:

  • In a 2 quart glass measure, add 1/2 cup wine, brandy, Triple Sec, and sugar. Place in microwave and heat on high for 1 minute or until mixture is warm. Stir, dissolving sugar, and add remaining wine, juices, cloves, allspice, and cinnamon.
  • Chill for at least 2 hours and strain into a pitcher discarding spices. Stir in sparkling water and remaining ingredients, serve immediately.
