4 cups water
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) chicken broth
1-1/2 cups cubed cooked chicken breast
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
3/4 cup sliced celery
3/4 cup sliced carrots
1 small onion, chopped
1-1/2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
1 teaspoon reduced-sodium chicken bouillon granules
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 cups uncooked egg noodles

Steps:

  • In a Dutch oven, combine the first 10 ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Stir in noodles; cook 5-7 minutes longer or until noodles and vegetables are tender.

½ cup chopped onion
½ cup chopped celery
4 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth
1 (14.5 ounce) can vegetable broth
½ pound chopped cooked chicken breast
1 ½ cups egg noodles
1 cup sliced carrots
½ teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon dried oregano
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter. Cook onion and celery in butter until just tender, 5 minutes. Pour in chicken and vegetable broths and stir in chicken, noodles, carrots, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes before serving.

2 stalks celery, diced small
2 medium carrots, diced medium
1 medium yellow onion, diced small
Salt and pepper
4 cups chicken broth
1 1/4 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
6 ounces vermicelli or angel-hair pasta, broken into 1 1/2-inch pieces
1/4 cup chopped fresh dill

Steps:

  • In a large pot, heat oil over medium-high. Add celery, carrots, and onion and cook until celery and carrots are crisp-tender, about 5 minutes; season with salt and pepper. Add broth and 4 cups water and bring to a boil. Add chicken, reduce to a simmer, and cover. Cook until chicken is cooked through, about 10 minutes. With tongs, remove chicken and chop or shred into bite-size pieces. Add pasta to pot and cook until tender, about 4 minutes; season with salt and pepper. To serve, stir in chicken and dill.
